The Gryphon I GM4400 2D imager transfers data wirelessly, making it an extremely flexible device. It also has a powerful scan engine, making it suitable for use in retail, for inventory, in light industry, for maintenance or in the healthcare sector. It reads 1D and 2D codes omnidirectionally, plus it captures images and documents, even from monitors. This last feature makes it the optimal scanner for mobile marketing applications in retail, or for ticketing applications in passenger transportation and with airlines.
The Gryphon I GM4400 has a working radius of 30 m via a 433 MHz frequency. Outside of this range, the Gryphon saves up to 1,200 bar codes and transfers them as soon as the scanner re-enters the receiving range. Additionally, this device boasts an impressive reading operation of 60,000 scans. It also is very ergonomic with intuitive features such as: 4-dot aimer, advanced motion tolerance, Green Spot scanning confirmation and Motionix motion-sensing technology. When the Gryphon is placed on the cradle, it switches to a powerful presentation scanner with a high reading rate.
Another practical feature is that you can use the existing GM4100 accessories after performing a simple update. What makes the Gryphon I GM4400 particularly efficient is its ability to simultaneously load and scan.
The practical and highly visible 4-dot aimer shows the precise reading zone, thereby eliminating unintentional scans. With its central target aimer, scan a clearly defined area from lists and other surroundings in which multiple barcodes are situated next to each other in cramped spaces. Its patented »Green Spot«, plus a noticeable beep, confirm the scan both visually and acoustically. This gives the user the security that each scan is performed successfully. Multiple scans and the resulting software mistakes are avoided, and the result is significantly increased efficiency. The comfortable dark red scanning light is easy on the user’s eyes, effectively preventing excessive tiredness. Its image capture ensures reliable document scanning, including signatures.
