The Magellan 3300HSi is specially designed for the demanding retail environment and meets all the expectations of a powerful built-in scanner with the greatest of ease. As the first Magellan in-counter scanner, it comes equipped with the newest imaging technology, revolutionising the scanning process in high-traffic POS areas.
Omnidirectional scanning in minimal space, with the speed of a laser scanner and the performance of an imager are its most powerful arguments. It comes standard with the ability to read all 1D and GS1 codes; via upgrades, it can also read 2D codes. Or select the 2D model from the beginning. Thanks to imaging technology, it does not require the moving components of a laser scanner, which helps reduce damage and breakdowns to a minimum. Software customisation is a breeze thanks to the USB interface and integrated Micro SD card reader, while users simply connect an additional handheld scanner via RS232. The compact stainless steel construction is extremely robust, whereby the Magellan ensures flexible installation and performs its professional duties for many years to come. Helpful features include the green LED, which signals a successful scan, as well as the automatic standby mode for longer periods of inactivity.
