The on-counter scanner Magellan 3200VSi completely redefines bar code scanning at the checkout: as a professional imager for 2D and GS1 codes, it delivers tremendous results when scanning difficult-to-read bar codes, e.g. ripped or poorly printed ones – at a speed that up until now only laser scanners could boast. The intelligent lighting technology Illumix provides maximum productivity and ergonomic operation, reading even from mobile phones, PDAs and computer monitors.
Due to the powerful imager technology, most of the scanner functions are software based, making management and configuration simple using diverse tools. Another advantage: the extremely fast imager has no moving components, laser modules or rotating motors, thereby guaranteeing particular long-lasting and smooth operation over many years. Both a micro-SD slot as well as various interfaces (IBM, USB, RS232, powered USB) are on-board, standard.
